Robin Brightman is leader of the Maidstone Symphony Orchestra.

Robin's orchestral work also includes permanent positions as a
member of the 1st Violin Section of the London Symphony Orchestra (until 2009),
as a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and as Assistant Leader of the
Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. Robin is currently leader of the Maidstone
Symphony Orchestra. Robin's opera work includes Israel Opera Company.
Robin's session work includes Music Solutions (Sylvia Addison), Isobel Griffiths
Ltd, Ivan McCready and Jonathan Hill.
Robin's commercial work includes John Williams (Star Wars, Superman, Raiders of
the Lost Art, Harry Potter etc), Llord Andrew Lloyd Webber (Phantom soundtrack,
Love Never Dies album), Claude-Michelle Schonberg (25th Anniversary Concert, Les
Miserables at the O2), Alexandre Desplat, Sir Elton John, John Wilson, Mike
Batt, Maurice Jarre, Sir Paul McCartney, Patrick Doyle, Henry Mancini, Elmer
Bernstein and many more.
Education
Robin's graduate studies took place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama
on a Corporation of London Scholarship.
